The Only Disciple to Sink | Matthew 14:22-33
On Sunday, Pastor Ross helped us to see that Peter was the only disciple to sink BECAUSE he was the only disciple who got out of the boat in the first place. When we put our trust in Jesus and take steps of faith, we give God the chance to show His faithfulness to us. This story gives way to two great reminders: 1) Jesus is with us through the trials, and 2) we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus instead of getting distracted or discouraged by the waves (trials).
