Easter Sunday!

One of the most celebratory days of the Christian year! Spoiler alert: Jesus doesn't stay in the tomb! Join us online or in person on Sunday, March 31 at 9am or 10:30am as we joyfully participate in the story of Jesus' resurrection with song, prayer, Scripture, preaching, and bursts of colorful spring flowers. Please contact the church office (616.399.9280) to purchase a potted Easter flower in honor or in memory of a loved one. Flowers are $10 per pot, and will be available to take home after the 10:30am service. We hope you can join us in celebrating!

Easter Offering
All designated gifts and loose cash for next week’s Easter Offering will go to support Intersection Ministries Global Food program. One Saturday a month they celebrate the unique culinary delights of a country while serving 60-80 neighborhood friends. Recently, Ottawa Food's budget cuts cost them financial support for this program so our gifts will help it to carry on.

Kids' Egg-cellent Easter Event

Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for donut holes, the Easter resurrection story, and a candy scramble outside. The Critter Barn will also be there - with chickens, a rooster, ducks, rabbits, and pygmy goats! This event is for those in 5th grade and younger. We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 8 from 10:30am-12pm.

Additional Information:
Park in the south lot and come into the main entrance, Entrance A near the bell tower. Please have kids bring their own basket/container to collect candy.

We will start out in the Atrium at 10:30am, enjoying donut holes and fruit. Kids can color Easter pictures,  work on an Easter craft, or get their faces painted. Ms Betsy will then call the kids into a group for a brief Easter story. Then we will all go outside together for the candy scramble!

After the candy scramble, you are welcome to stay outside and visit the Critter Barn animals, which will be near the bell tower. Please wait to go see the animals until after the candy scramble is done. We will also have sidewalk chalk, games, and bubbles outside for families to play with.  You can also go back inside for face painting and finishing up more food and/or crafts.

If you have any questions, please contact Betsy Bruins, Minister of Children & Families: bbruins@fellowshipreformed.org
